E-Asia Award 2011 Award:

Jessore DC office district e-service center was awarded the World Education Jury Choice Award for the special contribution of the International Jury Board for Information Technology. There are 16 prizes in these four categories of e-Asia capabilities, building connectivity, connecting people, citizen service (saving citizenship) and economic economy (driving economy). Among them, Bangladesh has one of nine projects, India has three projects, one in Britain, USA, Vietnam and the Philippines. To participate in this competition, an application was requested on e-Asia website. 33 projects have been nominated for initial selection from hundreds of projects.

This achievement of Jessore DC office district e-service center has brought glory to the whole country.

At District E-Services Center:

Civil and government letters are being accepted through the district e-service center to make the administration and services of the district administration easier and more efficient. The applications are being immediately transferred to the affiliated branch of the district commissioner or additional deputy commissioner. Moving to the online file from the branch, the decision is going to the Deputy Commissioner or additional deputy commissioner and the decision is coming back online with the decision. Later the letter was submitted and the letter was issued on hard copy. One of the features of this service is:

When receiving the letter, a receipt is given to the applicant, the date of receipt of the letter, the date of acceptance and the date of service to the applicant.

In Jessore district, a citizen can apply for any duplication of any scandal or filing order by going to the Union Digital Center (UDC) or the municipal digital center (PDC) of any union council near the home without leaving the e-service center of the DC office or in the upazila. For the same purpose, they can apply directly from the UDC or PDC through the District Information Portal (Distic web portal). Through online application, the citizens were getting duplication of land records or records only, within three days, which had to wait at least one month before getting it, and in this work the DC office should be visited several times or it should have been cashed in front of a dower.

Other advantages of this procedure:

- Provide acknowledgment of the applicant with ID number.

- Provide possible date of receipt of service.

-Wan stop at the counter and send SMS directly via phone, by post or through the web site

    The advantage of getting the latest status of receipt.

- False supply or registration, or counterfeit order.

- Reduce wages and get rid of brokers' trap.

Primary School Monitoring System:

There is an education portal named www.jessoreeducation.gov.bd where all the authorities can monitor the information and activities of the primary schools as well as the citizens. Besides, there is a website in every primary school in the district. The number of school students, number of students, number of teacher information is added on the website. The headmaster of each school can communicate every day with the help of SMS (sms), so that there is a clear idea about school easily. Any arrangement, notice or letter from the administrator can be easily sent to all schools by one click.

Online appointment:

There is no end to the prospect of meeting the Deputy Commissioner. The solution to this problem is the addition of an online appointment to Jessore District Web Portal. (www.jessore.gov.bd) If the request of the request is submitted through this link, then the Deputy Commissioner or the concerned officer is aware of this through a mail. In response to the e-mail, it can properly choose the right time and inform the concerned person and schedule the appointment.

District administration has taken steps to send notice of meetings of different departments in the district level and to make the decision taken in the meeting as the due date. In Jessore district portal portal or web portal http://www.jessore.gov.bd, arrangements have been made to insert all the meetings and resolutions held in the district administration. The notice is uploaded every month between 1/2/2012. In-
